GPS Online Solutions (GPSS) has a successful track record in the implementation of Asset Location and Driver Performance Monitoring Systems for the Mining and Transport industries in Australia and overseas.

GPSS has its origins in 1987 as a technology company focused on the emerging market for GPS-enabled solutions in industry and defence.  GPSS has developed a strong market presence as a developer and supplier of location-based asset management solutions including telematics, remote equipment monitoring and control, vehicle health and usage monitoring for defence vehicle (vHUMS) and mobile wireless communications.

The major product offered by GPSS is the ATOM hardware and ATOMWeb software, designed specifically for the requirements of the Mining and Transport industries.  A unique feature of the system is the capability to identify and measure aspects of driver behaviour that are indicators of inappropriate driving habits or the onset of driver fatigue.  This is a powerful tool to assist in driver training and OH&S compliance.  The system incorporates facilities for sending detailed vehicle data back to a central server via radio, WLAN, GPRS or satellite, and an advanced reporting interface to view the information.  The ATOMWeb software can be hosted by GPSS or installed onsite as a full turnkey solution.
